Troop 700 was started in 1964 by our chartering organization, The Westerville Civitan Club. This is a civic and service club that has ownership of the troop to help fulfill aims and goals for the development of youth. The Civitan Club provides the troop with a meeting place, leaders and guidance. We are proud to be celebrating 50 years in 2014! We hope that many of our former scouters of Troop 700 will be able to attend the event. Please contact us at the email above.
Every Scout is encouraged to attend as many meetings and activities as possible to get the most from the Scouting Experience. The Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmasters, Troop Committee, and the Patrol Leader's Council devote many hours throughout the year to plan enjoyable and meaningful activities for the troop.
Troop 700 is not just a Scout Troop; it is volunteers who lead, and parents who support their Scouts. Being a member of the troop means that your Scout needs to take part in meetings, planning activities, and to help make the troop a success.
